Society for Health Environment and Education Development commonly recognized with its acronym ( SHEED) Development is not for profit organization, is working in Sindh province for the socio economic development of deprived communities living in desolate conditions of life. The idea of the establishment of SHEED is to established Standard way of education which is the most important for the province of Sindh, because Sindh Occupies majorities of his rural populations, it also needs to improve the Health and to face the environmental changes in our society. SHEED Also emphasized Sindh specially its rural population, which is the target area marred by the unavailability of the basic needs of life, has put its population is marginalized conditions.

The dearth of quality education, basic health facilities, infra-structural needs, pure drinking water, awareness of basic and inalienable rights, need for women emancipation and Basic woman  rights has put the life of common man miserable circumstances. A group of young university graduates having full acquaintance with the conditions has decided to establish an organization named as SHEED a core organization of rural areas of Sindh to address on their genuine issues & other important issues of their people & community. They matured their dream with the establishment of SHEED in 2022.

SHEED is under the registration act XXI of 1860 in May 2022 having registration PAR/HYD No. 8633.

The Vision as well as the mission of SHEED adhered to championing the human as well as ethical values by striving for the cause oppressed communities in the context of the their natural as well as social rights, besides this it also has envisioned to explore the areas of socio- economic prosperity by procuring the best possible health and education facilities. In its sprouting age the young leadership of SHEED concentrated to bring the target communities with organizational manifestation.

SHEED has wide range of projects, in order to improve and develop the society with its Motto, “LIFE AND KNOWLEDGE”, for qualifies educated society and enhance other planning to repudiate the curse of society. To realize an individuals, groups, institutions, and media to ensure their financial moral support for the improvement of Education, Health, Research, Awareness, Environment and the further aims and objectives for which the Association is going to establish are given as under: –

• To establish, acquire, organize, and run educational institutions such as schools, colleges, universities, for formal and technical education in Urban and Rural areas.

• To establish Educational Institutions, Education Centers, Vocational Centers, for poor and needy students, and provide free education end specially to educate the rural women about their civil rights.

• To accord, grant scholarships, rewards of every description relative to philanthropic spirit in its widest connotation and social development proposes.

• To assist and encourage the cause of the education and literacy generally by giving prizes, grants, scholarships, awards, loans, bursaries, stipends or otherwise both within and outside Pakistan at the discretion of the Trustees.

• Training of teachers to enhance teaching skills.

• Awareness on importance of girl’s education, take steps for their education.

• To adopt and run Government Schools/ Colleges as per Government policy if any.

• Advocacy for education and establish educational research centers.

• Capacity building school management system. 

• To establish free Clinics, Medical centers, Medical Camps, Mobile Medical units, for the poor and needy people especially in Rural areas of province and other areas/ needy places.

• To arrange free medical facilities to deserving patients.

• To establish and run dispensaries, hospitals, clinics / Maternity homes and nursing in urban and rural areas.

• To provide free medicines to deserving patients.

• To provide ambulance services.

• Provision of mother and child health care services.

• Awareness for vaccination / HIV / STI / AIDS.

• To provide medical and other aids to the effected of natural disasters, like flood, heavy rain, earthquake.

• To establish and run medical research centers, institutions. 

• Plantation and protection of trees, breeding of livestock and care.

• To create awareness of hazards of industrial and traffic pollution and their control.

• Studies of environment protection.

• To provide hand pumps and well for clean drinking water and water treatment plants.

• To produce tools for environmental protection.

• To create awareness regarding water pollution.

• Awareness and adoption of Climate change.

• Disaster Risk Reduction / Management.

• To undertake such charitable and philanthropic activities which in the opinion of Trustees would assist the people’s cause to work for alleviation of humanity’s sufferings, illiteracy, and unemployment as for as possible.

• To promote vocational training and skills development for women, and to hate the low and high differences in between women and men, to provide funds finance to the widows, disable or needy people, specially to arrange marriage ceremonies for poor girls & provide marriage expenditures.

• To arrange Residence / Houses for poor and needful and deserving people, to provide domestic articles, clothes, shoes and other necessary ration, food items etc. To help the poor and needy people to provide and arrange homes, ration, food and sewing machines, medicines and other necessities of life and jobs for them to provide technical support, usage of machines and equipment.

• To support and provide financial aids, Qarz-e-Hasna for little earning works to the poor people and to support them.

• To organize, support and facilitate all those efforts through various sources of mass media including electronic, print media and social media required for awareness and capacity building for the members, and to aware and make connection in between the public and Government and Non-Government and private sectors, to arrange / Conduct exhibitions, seminars, conferences, workshop training programs; to celebrate National, Provincial, and cultural days, for the welfare and awareness of the people.

• To secure, receive, accept, and manage funds, donations, grants, endowments, and any other moveable and immovable properties from lawful sources and to utilize for promoting the aims and objects of the Trust.

• To collaborate, cooperate with other institutions, NGO’s Associations, trusts, having similar activities, to organize new Societies for advancement of any other objectives of charity and public benefits and to create coordination and linkage with other Associations, Donors, and other line department for sustainable development and to make it comprehensive and beneficial for community.

• The association shall be run on non-political, non-commercial, and non-religious basis, and there is no dispute amongst the members.

• The promoters / subscribers of the Association shall not be paid employee of This Association and also would not be paid employee in any manner and the Organization in the charity basis.
